The PLUS
interdisciplinary team recognizes the essential role that families and
loved ones can play in the rehabilitation process. We encourage family
members and significant others to attend the treatment meetings and to
participate in the development of the rehabilitation plan.
The treatment process is unique for every individual. Often families hold
the key to understanding the needs, inclinations, and history of the person
being served.
The primary
family contact is the PLUS Case Manager. The Case Manager maintains regular
communication with the family regarding ongoing rehabilitative gains and
community reintegration, and is available to answer questions and to provide
information on additional resources in the community.
We also enjoy
and encourage family involvement in the wide array of social events and
activities initiated and planned by our clients.
